BTS ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ MV hits over 10 million views… the shortest time for any K-POP group
BTS’ 2nd full album title track, ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’, music video reached 10 million views faster than any other K-POP boy group.
The ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ MV was released on October 10th at 12AM KST and reached 1 million views in 6 hours, and more than 5 million views in 18 hours. They also reached 10,018,179 views on October 11th at 5PM KST, in 41 hours.
Excluding PSY, this is the fastest record for all K-POP groups. The last MV, ‘FIRE’, hit 10 million in 75 hours. This time, it’s almost twice as fast. The ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ MV is also the 2nd most viewed K-POP MV in 24 hours as of October 11th, 5PM KST.
Beyond Youtube, ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ placed #1 on the US iTunes Music Video charts, gathering a hot response.
In the music video, the members are shown mid-air or with water spraying, showing their sensual selves, they also use strong colors, with extravagant and impressive video style. BTS, who is famous for their performances, combines their strong energy with groove, creating a sexy charm in their choreography, which further shows the concept for ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’.
